From the day I was born until the day she died, she tried to teach me to be considerate, and honest and that education would help me for the rest of my life. She also said education comes in many forms.
She taught me to respect women in A few ways.
One way was “having that talk” of birds and bees. She talked about the difference between “making love” and “screwing”, She said that God created men and women to mate. She said “You’re a Man Bobby” and with great power comes great responsibility.
Another way she taught me to respect women was unintentional, I saw her interaction with many men. I saw a black eye on her a time or two. My takeaway was she slept with a lot of slobs and they came and went (so to speak) but she happened upon a gentleman or two sometimes, and it was good for both of us. ( a kind lover for her and a glimpse of what a good man can look like for me). I’ve strived to be a gentleman ever since.
Donna Holiday was not “rumored to be” or “generally considered” to be a nymphomaniac, she was clinically diagnosed as one.
The earliest known use of the word “nymphomaniac” was in the 1820s. The term was used to describe a woman with excessive sexual desires. Today, healthcare providers use different terms to describe hypersexual behavior, such as hypersexuality disorder, compulsive sexual behavior, or sex addiction.
How interesting is it that nymphomaniac describes a feminine sex addiction, only applied to women back then?

So we go in and there’s Donna, passed out on the sofa nude. By the way, the real trauma was Luke getting my Reggie Jackson rookie card..
